Fish Oil, It Does a Body Good

Many people have heard of Fish Oil and understand that it is good for them but have no idea as to why.  Fish Oil, or more accurately Omega-3 Fatty Acids, are anti-inflammatory fats.  Due to their anti-inflammatory properties, Fish oil is considered to be cardio-protective – meaning they DECREASE risk of heart disease.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids are ESSENTIAL to our diet because biochemically “the conversion (from other Fatty Acids) efficiency is low, even in healthy individuals.”  This inefficiency makes it essentially impossible to create sufficient levels for proper/normal function.

Furthermore, Fish Oil is required for healthy cellular activity as Omega-3 Fatty Acids create the cell membrane of all our cells.

“In general, experts agree the advanced human cell is only as efficient as its membrane system.  This life principle suggests that having adequate levels of DHA and EPA (Fish Oil) in membrane systems is crucial to the survival, growth, renewal and myriad function of human cells.”

Fish Oil supplementation, through a high-quality safe manufacturer, is the safest way to ensure proper cellular membrane function.  Without proper levels of Omega-3 fatty acids, your cell membranes act like bald tires on a car – unresponsive, inefficient and unsafe.  Be sure to ask about the Highly-Concentrated Fish Oil carried in the practice.
